The couple are understood to have marked their latest milestone at the £15million mansion in Los Angeles which they have been staying at with one-year-old Archie. Writing in Harper’s Bazaar, royal biographer Omid Scobie, who is understood to be close to Meghan, 38, revealed the details of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex lockdown celebration told to him by a source. He said they turned to Zoom calls in a bid to reminisce about their Windsor nuptials with guests who attended their big day on May 19 2018
A source said Harry, 35, and his American-born wife enjoyed chatting with family and friends.
The source told the publication: “They all reminisced about what a beautiful and magical day it was.
Omid said Meghan and Harry wrapped up their day of celebrations with Mexican cuisine and margarita cocktails.
He said the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes gifted each other with “cotton-based” presents to mark the occasion.
He said: “And with the Sussexes now based in Los Angeles, it only seemed right to celebrate with a Southern Californian favourite: Mexican food.
“The couple, who also exchanged cotton-based gifts per tradition, enjoyed a number of favourite dishes together, washed down with margaritas.”
The revelation quashes any speculation that Meghan may be pregnant again, a year after the couple welcomed their first child.
A spokesman for the company said “punters are convinced that 2020 may bring further joy for the pair, and they are odds-on at 4/7 to announce another pregnancy in 2020”.
Just weeks into the Sussexes’ flight to LA in a bid to set up a home, royal fans continue to speculate on where Archie will grow up.
Betfair said punters “seem to think that Archie will join his cousins George, Charlotte and Louis by attending his first year of school in the UK”.
But the chances of the royal tot being schooled stateside are more likely, given his parents’ recent move to Meghan’s home state.
Earlier in the week, Bazaar quoted a source close to the couple as saying the pair had cleared their diaries.
The source said: “The day will simply be quality time with one another and as a family.
“They’re not going to be doing any work and have made sure there are no meetings or calls in the diary.”
Meghan, Harry and Archie are believed to be hiding out at a secluded 10-bed Tuscan-style villa.
The property in the gated Beverly Ridge Estate is owned by US actor Tyler Perry.
