During an interview at Beautycon LA, the ‘Hot Girl Summer’ rapper is asked whether her social media posts featuring the ‘Truth Hurts’ hitmaker have anything to do with them making music together.
Megan Thee Stallion has teased she’s working on new music with “Truth Hurts” hitmaker Lizzo.
The U.S. rapper recently teamed up with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign for her latest track “Hot Girl Summer”. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at Beautycon LA over the weekend (August 10-11), the 24-year-old revealed she’s collaborated with the singer/rapper on an upcoming track.
“Lizzo is my girl, and we’re both from Texas. I love Lizzo,” she said, when asked about the number of Instagram snaps of the pair the star has posted to her account.
When asked whether the two are working together on something, Megan enthused: “Of course!”
“I already know (what it sounds like). And I just can’t wait for y’all to hear it. It’s amazing already,” Megan said. “Just two Texas girls and we just had a really good time.”
Megan, real name Megan Pete, has enjoyed huge success in recent months, after becoming the first female rapper to be signed by label 300 Entertainment last November. She released her first full-length mixtape entitled “Fever” in May, with singles on the record including “Big Ole Freak”, “Sex Talk”, and “Realer”.
