Kate Beckinsale was the talk of the town/Hollywood over the weekend when she was snapped smooching Jack Whitehall, 30.
The Serendipity actress and the posh comedian were pictured locking lips at West Hollywood celeb hangout Craig’s restaurant.
It was reported that later they entered the same hotel together.
Following the alleged tryst, Kate was hilariously accused of hiding Jack behind one of the curtains in her hotel room in a selfie she posted on Instagram.
“She’s so posh! I love her!”
The 45-year-old actress has been on fine form on social media of late, as she has been delighting her following with her British sense of humour.
From sharing that she sticks sausages in her trousers in her family’s wacky Bonfire Night tradition, to insisting she isn’t a diva despite her extensive bra collection, Kate has had her 2.2 million followers in stitches.
And the mum-of-one was back at it yesterday, as she dropped a cheeky confession on Insta.
She was tasked with how she would bring a sense of Britishness into American homes by Russell Hobbs.
In a video she shared, Kate admitted her favourite British curse word was “w****r”.
She continued: “What I like is in terms of British slang swearing, we’ve got quite a lot of shades.
“There are several swear words you can say that imply that you’re stupid but there’s still kind of affection behind it, it’s not just an insult, do you know what I mean?”
She then determined that America needs more swear words that combine someone’s stupidity but also have an element of affection behind them.
Continuing the banter in the caption, Kate added: “I won’t rest until every American home has a stylish kettle and people are loving calling each other “k**b #myrussellhobbs”
Fans were delighted to see Kate’s sense of humour reign supreme once more, and flooded the clip with comments.
One Instagram user said: “You are such a cute and lovable woman Kate! I’m glad to be able to get to you know you through Instagram. This is so cool!”
Another praised: “She’s so posh! I love her!”
A third joked: “She really does have the most delicious voice and accent ever. I wish my Siri and anything dictated could be her voice.”
